INLA UK is holding a UK-focused Nuclear Law Foundation Course in London on 2-3 June, 2016. The Course will focus on UK nuclear sector legal issues; and is designed for both lawyers practicing in nuclear law, and policy makers, regulators and students.
Application Note: Note that all INLA members are welcome to participate, whether you’re based in the UK or not!
The Course will focus on key UK nuclear sector legal issues; it will be practical and interactive. The content is designed for both lawyers practising in nuclear law, and policy makers, regulators and students. It provides an ideal introduction for newcomers to the UK nuclear legal sector, as well as benefitting experienced practitioners.
Importantly, the Course aims to award a Prize to students or solicitors new to nuclear – funding a delegate to attend the INLA 2016 Inter Jura in New Delhi. Details of the competition and prize will be circulated prior to the course. Interested participants should submit a paper on a nuclear law topic; the best paper will win the sponsored place to the Inter Jura, to include entry to the congress, return economy airfare, and hotel. We hope the written paper will also be published with the written materials to the New Delhi congress. Judges will include Roger Clayson, chair (Read Roper & Read) and Stephen Tromans QC (39 Essex St).
